Moving parts of a Tattoo

by Norm Crerar | Jul 25, 2021 | News

Okanagan Military Tattoo  What the heck is a Canoe doing in the Tattoo?  1967 was Canada’s Centennial Celebration and 50 years later, the 50th Anniversary was recognized at our 2017 Okanagan Military Tattoo.  To help us with this, the Calgary Round-Up Band’s 65 members sang Bobby Gimby’s Canada Song.  The Canoe was, “paddled” by Norm Crerar and two of the CRUB’s music directors.  Will the canoe make an appearance in the 2022 Tattoo?  Keep checking in via our web site and weekly blogs!
